We are pleased to announce that the speaker at this year's Maimonides Socieity Dinner will be Dr. Douglas Bradham, speaking on the topic, "Current Issues in Healthcare Reform."

Whether or not there is legislative action on healthcare reform this year, the issues that motivated the Obama Administration to undertake its efforts to comprehensively reform America's health insurance system - quality, cost and fairness of access - continue to exist. Dr. Bradham, a nationally known expert on healthcare economics, will discuss this issue, its impact on the Wichita community (with a special focus on its impact on the practicing physician) and the prospects for addressing it even in the absence of legislation.

Dr. Bradham is Professor and Chair of the Department of Preventive Medicine and Public Health at the Kansas University School of Medicine - Wichita.
