Simply Tzedakah is an annual holiday campaign from the Mid-Kansas Jewish Federation. For one night of Hanukah, you can honor a friend, a child, a parent, a niece or nephew, a grandchild or loved one, near or far away, with the gift of tzedakah. With a minimum $18 contribution (just a little Hanukah gelt), you can honor somone special while making a difference in the life of at-risk Ethiopian-Israeli teens.

This year MKJF's Simply Tzedakah campaign will benefit the Ethiopian National Project, a program of the Jewish Federations of North America which provides educational and social opportunities to help Ethiopian-Israeli teenagers reach their full potential. Your gift will go to the Youth Outreach Center in Lod, Israel, which provides a safe, physical haven for youth at risk. The center offers after-school support and a positive framework for teens who are at risk of dropping out of school, using drugs or alcohol, partaking in criminal behavior and being on the fringes of Israeli society.

Every Simply Tzedakah gift will be acknowledged with a colorful certificate bearing the names of the recipient and sender, and will be mailed in time for Hanukah giving. To ensure your certificate arrives in time for the holiday, please contact us before Thursday, December 10.
