There has been a great expansion of the available kosher food options in Wichita over the past couple of years.

The opening of the new Dillons Marketplace on the corner of Rock and Central greatly expanded the availability of kosher groceries, including products from Israel and a full range of kosher meats and cheeses.

Just this year opened Zen Vegetarian, a new restaurant on 32nd and Rock (behind the Taco Tico). This beautifully decorated pan-Asian restaurant is the only all-vegetarian restaurant in Wichita, offering a selection of Chinese-style cuisine with tofu and soy substitutes that's as delicious to meat eaters as it is to vegans, all under the certification of Rabbi Nissim Wernick of Hebrew Congregation.
